Good value service very good. Cleanliness a bit poor
Nice food but remarkably average service by dour faced staff that give the impression you're an inconvenience. I only use the place because it's next door to Premier Inn and can get a meal deal - breakfast with a choice of two courses for dinner plus a drink...
Best breakfast for a long time. Food seemed fresh and extremely tasty. My children love the smoothies. If you are a single parent with two kids like me this deal is an absolute bargain, you cannot go wrong!
Refused to serve me chefs counter on a Sunday at 5pm even though all the food was out and they weren't advertised to stop selling till 6pm. I'd just driven 3 hours to get to the hotel and I was hungry. I was alone and all I needed was a plate and 2 minutes to grab some roast potatoes and gravy. There was loads of food out on display but they said I had to order from the menu as the food was for people that had already ordered. While i was watching they started packing the food away. Rude!I went to KFC and got fresh gravy and chicken.
Service not the fastest, and some of the order didn't come out quite right (was quickly corrected), but otherwise nice pub restaurant. Food was lovely, and staff friendly and helpful. What you would expect for a better run chain pub.
