This is a lovely pub with great views near the beach of Newhaven! There is a good variety of real ale if you like it! The food is very good and we didn't have to wait long for our lunch which was lovely and prices very good as well as variety!! It is also quite old and cosy and has seating outside pub as well!!! Lots of parking near by! We will be going back soon!!
Now, this place is a bit like going back in time. To the days when strangers were frowned upon suspiciously. The atmosphere was fishy and the locals all looked related. If you want traditional pub food, with good sea views this is the place to come. I like this pub the staff are great the service is good, however, the food is good BUT you don't put peppers in Lamb casserole. Have eaten here several times and love the atmosphere it gives you that warm tingling apprehension of going somewhere new.
