Friendly staff, great atmosphere and superb food. A first visit, but would definitely go back again.
Great Sunday lunch. Incredibly accommodating and friendly staff. Sticky toffee pudding will take a LONG time to walk off. Great and lively pub.

I went there as it was dog friendly. A really nice traditional British pub. The food was a cut above the usual. The surroundings are pleasant with a nice fire all very cozy. The staff are super which makes it a great place for dinner.
I love this place. The food is great, not gourmet but all kinds of tasty. The interior is what you want from an old fashioned pub: a bit dingey, a bit dark and full of people. The garden area is under appreciated for just how charming it is. Good selection of booze. Lots of games and a pool table. Owner is great.
